PBS Irony

You know what gets my goat? PBS, a tax-payer funded television station that is designed to show quality broadcasting to those that do not have money for cable/dish/satellite, only airs their programming in widescreen. We cannot watch Sesame Street because we cannot see all the letters on the screen.

I guess everyone on public assistance that can't get cable can afford a $500 brand new television. Where's the governement-funded, therefore tax-payer funded, program to get every household a new television?
